Austrian bratwurst spice blend. 16oz container. For making bratwurst and weisswurst. Great in ground chicken patties for an alpine flair.

Flavor Profile: warm and aromaric - mild pepper heat - herbal marjoram notes - slight sweetness - Austrian/Turolean suasage flavor

Sausage Usage Rate: Traditional brat met mix is 70% pork butt and 30% veal (or Skinless chicken thighs). Add 2 T seasoning per 1 pound (454g) of coarse ground meat. Add 1/4 C ice cold water and mix thoroughly. Optional: add 1 egg white whipped and mix in. Chill 1 hour and regrind entire mixture for proper brat texture. For weisswurs just reqrind on medium plate and add only 1 T spice blend per pound 1.5 for more flavor. Stuff into links or make patties.
